1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 KungFu Helper Pte Ltd (“KungFu Helper”) is a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 70 Shenton Way, #01-06 Eon Shenton, Singapore 079118. KungFu Helper operates as a platform that connects End Users with independent third-party providers of home cleaning and related services (“Service Providers”). KungFu Helper does not employ Service Providers directly but facilitates the connection between End Users and Service Providers.

1.2 Please read these Terms carefully before engaging our services. End Users are encouraged to retain a copy for future reference. If any provision is unclear or requires clarification, please contact us before making a booking.

1.3 By confirming a booking through WhatsApp or any other official communication channel operated by KungFu Helper, You acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms. Where a booking is made on behalf of a household, company, or other legal entity, the person making the booking represents and warrants that they have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. DEFINITIONS

2.1 Service Providers refer to individuals employed by, or affiliated with, home services companies that work with KungFu Helper.

2.2 Home Services refer to the services provided by Service Providers through KungFu Helper, including but not limited to home cleaning, part-time helper services, and other related household services.

2.3 End Users or You refer to individuals using KungFu Helper’s official communication channels (WhatsApp, phone, or email) to request Home Services.

 

3. DISCLAIMER

3.1 KungFu Helper provides a platform to connect End Users with independent Service Providers. We do not provide Home Services ourselves. Any contract for services is strictly between the End User and the Service Provider.

3.2 Service Providers are not employees of KungFu Helper. Unless otherwise stated, KungFu Helper makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding:

 a) the acts, omissions, conduct, or behaviour of any Service Provider engaged by the End User; or

 b) the quality, safety, or outcome of the services provided by any Service Provider.

3.3 If You are dissatisfied with the services or encounter any issues, You agree to raise Your complaint directly with the Service Provider.

3.4 While we take reasonable measures to verify Service Providers, including interviews and reference checks, we cannot guarantee suitability, reliability, or performance.

3.5 You acknowledge that engaging a Service Provider is at Your own risk. KungFu Helper may remove or suspend a Service Provider based on feedback from End Users, at our sole discretion.

3.6 Service requests must be made via official channels. A booking is confirmed when KungFu Helper issues a confirmation message to You on behalf of the Service Provider, at which point a contract is formed directly between You and the Service Provider.

3.7 KungFu Helper only accepts requests for service addresses within Singapore.

3.8 If You provide a Service Provider with keys, access cards, or other entry methods, this arrangement is strictly between You and the Service Provider. KungFu Helper accepts no responsibility or liability for loss, misuse, or consequences arising from such access.

 

4. SERVICE TERMS

4.1 Minimum Service Hours and Estimates

Part-time helper and home cleaning services have a minimum duration of 2.5 hours.

Estimates for other services are indicative and may vary depending on the property’s condition, additional requirements, or factors beyond our control.

4.2 Additional Services

Services will be provided within the agreed hours and scope. Requests for additional work will incur extra charges, which will be invoiced to You accordingly.

4.3 Pricing and Payments

Service pricing is as per the quotation and booking confirmation. Invoices are issued at the end of each month for recurring services, and the day after for one-time bookings. Payments are accepted via Bank Transfer or PayNow.

4.4 Late Payments

Unpaid amounts may incur administrative costs and interest at 2% p.a. above DBS Bank’s prevailing SGD Deposit rate. Services may be suspended or terminated for overdue accounts.

4.5 Quotation Amendments

Quotations may be revised if Your requirements change. All prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

4.6 Quotation Validity

Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

4.7 Service Suspension and Collections

Services may be suspended for overdue accounts. Outstanding balances may be referred to third-party collections, and You will be responsible for associated costs.

4.8 Currency

All fees and charges are in Singapore dollars.

 

5. END USER RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 You must provide safe and free access to electricity, water, and other facilities necessary for Service Providers to perform their work.

5.2 You must inform KungFu Helper of any hazards, risks, or unsafe conditions before service commences.

5.3 You are required to inspect services immediately upon completion and raise concerns while the Service Provider is present.

5.4 You must provide instructions for alarm systems or special equipment. KungFu Helper is not responsible for activations, damages, or unsafe customer-provided equipment.

 

6. LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS

6.1 Service Providers may refuse unsafe or unreasonable requests.

6.2 In the event of confirmed damage caused by a Service Provider, KungFu Helper will attempt to repair or compensate You up to SGD 200. Pre-existing damage, improper installation, or unsuitable items are excluded.

6.3 KungFu Helper is not liable for loss, delays, damages, or costs arising from:

  • Force majeure events (e.g., fire, strike, natural disasters)
  • Late arrival of Service Providers
  • Unsatisfactory results due to Your instructions or conditions
  • Incidental outcomes, such as odours

7. BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS, AND TERMINATION

7.1 You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations. Less than 48 hours’ notice incurs a 50% cancellation fee.

7.2 If Service Providers cannot access the premises due to Your fault, a 50% cancellation fee applies.

7.3 Termination of ongoing agreements requires at least 48 hours’ notice. Early termination without completing four sessions incurs a $50 fee.

7.4 KungFu Helper may terminate or suspend services immediately for:

  • Non-payment
  • Unsafe conditions
  • Abuse or threats towards Service Providers

8. GENERAL PROVISIONS

8.1 Screening and Confidentiality

Service Providers are screened via interviews and reference checks. Your information is used solely for service provision and will not be shared unless required by law.

8.2 Data Protection

KungFu Helper takes reasonable measures to protect Your personal data from misuse or unauthorised access.

8.3 Non-Solicitation

You agree not to engage Service Providers directly after termination of services.

8.4 Public Holidays

Services are not guaranteed on public holidays unless agreed in writing.

8.5 Equal Opportunities and Conduct

Abuse, harassment, or assault towards Service Providers is strictly prohibited. Legal action may be taken.

8.6 Updates to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Updated Terms take effect 24 hours after publication on our website or notification via official channels. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
