We perform basic wipe-down and cleaning for appliances like the fridge, oven, and microwave. If there are old, hard stains, you can request a chemical wash for deeper cleaning.
04 Hanging Back the Curtains (Add-on)
If you’ve booked curtain cleaning with us, we’ll rehang them after the cleaning is complete so they remain fresh and ready to use.
05 Final Walkthrough
After the service, our team lead will invite you for a walkthrough and confirm that you’re satisfied with the cleaning. You will sign off on the checklist before we pack up and leave.

What’s included and not included in move-in cleaning?
Our move in home cleaning services covers the main areas of your new home, like the living room, dining room, bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen. What’s not included are repairs, upholstery cleaning, moving big items and discarding furniture.
Why hire a move-in home cleaning?
Hiring cleaning services saves you time and effort, and you can also immediately settle in because the home has been extensively cleaned.
What’s the difference between move-in cleaning and a regular cleaning?
Pre-move-in cleaning is much more detailed than regular cleaning since the goal is to deep-clean every corner of your new home to make your new home resident-ready and germ-free. Our service includes all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment (including ladders), which is convenient since these items are often not available in a new house.
What is included in move-out cleaning?
The coverage is the same as our move in home cleaning services. We clean all areas of your home to get it ready for the next residents.
When to schedule move-in/move-out cleaning?
For cleaning move in service, schedule the cleaning once the previous owner’s belongings have been removed. For move-out, schedule it once you have removed all your belongings. We suggest that you book our cleaning service at least a week in advance. The earlier, the better.
Do I need to provide the supplies?
No, you don’t have to worry about the equipment and products. We come fully equipped!
What should I do before the cleaners arrive?
Please ensure that the utilities are on, for we will need water and electricity. Also, temporarily clear out your belongings to give us room during cleaning.
Can I request focus areas?

What’s the difference between move-out cleaning and a regular cleaning?
This is similar to our comparison with move-in cleaning. Move-out cleaning is more thorough since you’ll be leaving the space with hopes of getting your security deposit in full.
How long does a typical move-in/out cleaning service take?
The duration depends on the size and condition of your home. Each cleaning session is scheduled for a 4-hour time block with a minimum of 2 cleaners assigned to your property.
Most cleaning jobs take approximately three to four hours to complete.
Can I schedule on weekends or during holidays?
Yes, you can book when it works best for you. Our specialised cleaning service offers three specific time slots: 9 AM-1 PM and 2 PM-6 PM. We recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
Do I have to be there while they clean?
You don’t need to stay for the entire cleaning process, but we recommend that you be present at the start of the cleaning to open the doors and inform our team about areas that need special attention.
Customers are also required to return just before the cleaning is completed to participate in a walkthrough and sign off on our completed checklist.
Can I customise my move-in/out cleaning service?
We only follow our scope of cleaning work as outlined above. All those tasks already cover what landlords and/or agents usually require before the handover.
What is end-of-tenancy cleaning? Is this different from move-out cleaning?
These two are synonymous. End-of-tenancy cleaning is just another term.
Does KungFu Helper offer rental house cleaning?
Yes, rental houses are included in our services.
Is post-tenancy cleaning really needed?
Yes. Most tenancy agreements require this. It is best to hire cleaners if you want to get your security deposit in full. Post-tenancy cleaning is also a form of courtesy that reflects your personality.
